First game I have watched on the big screen (not on computer stream !) was blown away how impressive The Stadium looks) totally uninspiring game. Happy for Antonio after reading so many threads on here about him at RB.

Good move giving Antonio MOTM... Kid needs a confidence boost, winning MOTM and scoring the winner should do his confidence a world of good...
Deserved or not it's a good move.
Play him on the right wing and stop fucking with his head ffs!
He runs his socks off every game, scores more than his fair share and is a constant threat going forward. Get behind him, he should be one of the first names on the team sheet every week along with Payet.

Another big plus is that we're two points better off than equivalent fixtures last year. After three games last season there were some justifiable concerns too, so there's nothing to suggest we won't be just fine long term. Rocky start yeah, but no more so than last season and the injuries are brutal. Would like to see Burke and Oxford feature Thursday.

I think Antonio is too thick to suffer from a lack of confidence. Which is why he can make so many mistakes but yet been so successful. He just tries again and again no matter how much he fucks up. It's one of his main strengths, for me.

Although he didn't do a lot right, he did enough to cherry-pick to use to boost his confidence, which he certainly needs to do to get back to last season's form

Despite scoring the winner I thought Antonio was pony. I don't get how he is MotM. He was clumsy as fuck and rarely created anything.
Tore was more involved in our attacks than he was and people think he is shit.

One decent shot is a great game for Valencia.
His arrogance in reaction to being subbed suggests that he doesn't think there's a problem with his form, which means he's happy with it. No chance of substantial improvement while he thinks that.

Limited creativity in the team due to injury and we got lucky that Ibe was too scared to take a shot before they got one sent off.
But with available resources getting 3 points was an achievement. Biggest positives:
Antonio scoring and from his favoured position
Nordveit looked a lot better and patrolled the areai in front of the back four well
Noble, Reid, Ginge and the team put in a shift
Tore got better as the game progressed and has a decent cross when he gets it right. He looks like he will track back and he may well be a decent addition once fully match fit which he is not quite yet
Crucial save by Adrian when it mattered
Callari another that looks a decent addition, holds it up well if the service is goo , strong and with decent passing and control
Only negative was poor old Valencia. He tried but other than one decent shot, cannot lead the line, cannot hold onto the ball and generally gets knocked about like a rag doll. He should not start any game.
3 points well won if not the most convincing display
